JD : You know that feeling when you're alone in your room, you feel bad and nothing around you seems to be going well then suddenly when you turn on your radio, you are immediately 'deep in the music'. General Commenti love this song am i the only one well i love korn i must be there biggest fan caz i have never been dissapointed in any of there music yet i love there new sound and the lyrics are completly wrong where it says "streets will whisper" its actually "your scareams will whisper" and this is what i heard the song means This song was written to preach to the lonely and desperate, and comfort them through their pain. PS- 'vibrations coming through' doesnt mean she uses a vibrator, music IS vibrations, all sound is, and all the bass in music played loud enough can make you shake and feel the vibrations. When you get that down, comfort becomes addictive, and you just cant get enough, and when your away from it you almost have withdrawl since no one understands you and wont listen even when you scream. I can relate to and understand this since when i was a young(er) girl (im only 14 atm), i was verbally abused and bullied really badly and was, at one point, suicidal because of it, this song (and some other korn songs) showed me i wasnt alone and helped me pull through. Twisted Transistor, meaning messed up radio/messed up music, is about a young girl who's self-hateful and abused verbally and/or physically, and how music comforts her no matter what she goes through, even if shes locked in her room sobbing and completely alone, how the lyrics can make you feel so much less lonely and almost become an addiction. JD is saying how no matter how misunderstood you are, music while always understand. "A lonely life where no one understands you, but dont give up, because the music do" People dont understand these things unless theyve gone through a similar situation and ive been through exactly what this song is about, its about how you can drown out your pain with music. So think before you assume what a song means. And I KNOW all of your have felt that before.

Then she's crying, and the music is vibrating, the sound so loud that she can feel it. In this last area, the song goes on to say that the girl finally understands that the world isn't at all fair, and that if she doesn't hold strong, the world will destroy her, or consume her, hence the term eat. 'Your scream's a whisper' meaning that even when she screams, no one can hear. Obviously, the music is deeply affecting her, and the term 'forever preaching', just means that she's always gonna remember it. The chick is lonely, obviously, and misunderstood, but she feels a sense of understanding in the music, I mean, don't you have songs that just click? Anyone ever turned up your base real loud and felt the vibrations? She's holding onto a radio, and 'Turn it up, turn it up, The wind is coming through' means SOUND, as in music, which travels through the air. Transistor was a term used for radio way back when. Song MeaningYou idiots, can you not see that there is nothing sexual about this song? Now go back and read the lyrics. The world ain't fair, eat you if you let it A lonely life, where no one understands you
